You cannot judge a book by its cover is my story. Since I was a little girl to now, I suffered so much pain inside. Nobody knew of my pain...I was carefree Mindy; nothing was wrong with me. WRONG! I just learned to accept that whatever it was: sexual abuse, verbal abuse, physical abuse, animal torture, or something else...I just thought it was my reality, and it was supposed to be that way! I deserved it!!! I am learning through the beginning of my healing that it is not the right way to live, and that I deserve peace, not abuse! Through AWBW art workshops and another place; I am learning of emotions and feelings that I had no clue about! It is hard to admit...but I am a true survivor. I believe that in order to heal, I need to give back to people like me, and keep my dreams, hopes, wishes and beliefs for a positive/healthy life alive! I want to be that butterfly that changed from an ugly caterpillar to a beautiful creature soaring the world! I'm READY...
