Communities of practice are groups of people who share a concern or a passion for something they do and learn through consistent collaboration how to do it better. As a community of practice, we are constantly learning and evolving through partnerships with multiple human service agencies and their staff.
Because of these mutually beneficial relationships we are able to lift up and share best approaches to addressing trauma through the process of creative expression, allowing all within the community of practice to deepen and expand our collective expertise.
While facilitators learn from us at trainings, we also learn from facilitators and participants. We value feedback, ideas, lessons learned, discoveries and innovations. We respond to feedback by sharing the learning with our network of Windows Facilitators and partner agencies, developing new resources, writing new curriculum and offering specialized training topics.
