For over three decades, A Window Between Worlds (AWBW) has served as a leadership incubator, nurturing community-based activists and artists, and pioneering ways in which art can heal and transform intersectional trauma.
As AWBW experiences unprecedented program growth and demand—having more than doubled our community of Facilitators to over 1,200 in the US and abroad since transitioning to a digital format in 2020—we find ourselves at a critical juncture. To manage this rapid expansion, strategic investments in staffing, technology, and community leadership are essential.
These investments will not only support our Facilitators as they use art to empower healing and sustain transformative actions but also ensure the continued growth and innovation within our organization.
GET INVOLVED
We invite you to join us in this exciting phase as we plan for and invest in the future of AWBW, helping to sustain and expand our impact globally. Regardless of the size & scope of your support, we need your help to make this campaign a success.
There are a variety of ways to get involved, with overall goals for 2024 outlined below.
THE NEED
Since 2020, AWBW has experienced unprecedented growth! We’ve more than doubled our community of Windows Facilitators, and in 2023 alone, served 39% more participants over 2022.
OUR REACH
We continue to expand our program reach exponentially each year. We now have program partners in 43 states and 6 countries, with Facilitators also reporting working with participants in over 23 additional countries.
DIVERSITY OF SECTORS SERVED
IGNITE YOUR INVESTMENT
Regardless of the size & scope of your support, we have created multiple pathways that meet the interests and capacity of our diverse community of supporters. We invite you to explore the different options to become a part of this campaign and envision where you might have the greatest impact.
IMPACT INVESTOR
We invite you to help lay the foundation that will enable AWBW to prototype and scale art-based tools for transforming trauma in a wide range of sectors. We welcome you to super-charge our ability to address emerging needs by becoming an Unrestricted Super Investor. We invite you to nurture emerging areas of innovation by becoming a Sector Investor. We welcome you to bring your long-term visions to life by becoming a Legacy Investor.
BECOME A LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP DONOR
Establish a Sector Leader in perpetuity to support collaboration, innovation, and impact of AWBW’s network of trained Facilitators.
Scholarships may be designated to the sector/focus area
or geographic region of interest to you, or left to the
discretion of AWBW program staff.
BECOME A SUSTAINING DONOR
Healing is created in community, not isolation.
Sustaining donations at all levels, are the heartbeat of our stability. Join our Impact Journey Circle by becoming a monthly or sustaining donor for as little as $5 a month, and get access to various events and art offerings throughout the year.
TRAINING AND OUTREACH TEAM
The primary way people learn about the AWBW program and training has been and continues to be word of mouth. We invite you to become part of this circle of connection by joining the AWBW Training Outreach Team. Share about AWBW’s training with people who you think can benefit. It’s really that simple, TOT members simply spread the word about our training which helps our community of art Facilitators to grow and thrive!
AMPLIFY TEAM
Helping spread our message across social media platforms expands our ability to reach potential Facilitators and grow our healing arts programs. Whether you share on Facebook, LinkedIn, or Instagram, you can help share our work, opportunities, and resources. Being a part of the Amplify Team helps expand the rapidly growing Windows circle.
