Join us for two days of trauma-informed, experiential learning, creativity, and connection.
Get everything you need to implement art programming and become a Certified Windows Facilitator. Training attendees include advocates, teachers, social workers, case managers, therapists, community organizers, and other people dedicated to healing and wellness.
By attending this training, you will gain ongoing access to an expanding curriculum of 600+ strengths-based art workshops, free professional development opportunities, and individualized consultations with AWBW staff.

What you’ll experience at our training:

Dynamic presentations by licensed clinicians and subject-matter experts with discussions on trauma-informed care, intersectionality, cultural responsiveness, and oppression as a form of trauma

Hands-on art workshops, giving you the opportunity to experience healing through creative expression as a participant which better prepares you to serve others

Brainstorming sessions around using the creative process with different populations in various settings

A deeper understanding of the creative process, and how to build safety and connection with your participants so they feel heard and understood

Ready-to-use tools for facilitating with different age groups, including working with families

Practical tips for using easily accessible art supplies

Introduction to ongoing, free virtual resources available to you, including enrichment trainings, new art workshops, peer-to-peer groups and more
