Compensation: $18 – $25 DOE

The Development Operations Assistant will be responsible for tracking timelines and gathering deliverables from key team members to support efficient grant submissions/donor asks,and to provide support with overall donor-focused data and logistical operations of the Development and Communications department. They will work closely with the Associate Director of Philanthropy and Communications and Marketing and Communications Manager to support the Executive Director & founder, and to develop and execute internal processes and procedures to facilitate the growth, retention, and stewardship of donors and support the programmatic work of the organization. Job Responsibilities:
Overall

Help develop & execute CRM/web/back-end processes and procedures to facilitate smooth data collection, gift management/acknowledgement, event ticketing and sales, and communication automations.

Track and secure executive approvals, timelines and key deliverables related to grant and fundraising initiatives.

Manage the Executive Director’s calendar as relates to donor pitches, review time for grants and development meetings.

Assist with tracking fundraising metrics.

Work collaboratively to create strategies on the use of database systems.

Assist with data collection, collation, and archiving for grant proposals & reporting, impact report, as well as for current and potential partner organizations as needed.

Assist with the research, inquiry, development, and submission of small ($5,000 and below) grant requests (from templated language).

Oversee Board, Advisory Board, and staff lists, bios, images, etc., keeping them up to date for updates and grant references.

Assist in the maintenance of the development solicitation and production calendars.

Help facilitate and provide technical support for occasional, largely online events.

Support Executive Director & Founder with major gift tracking, grant reviews, and timelines.

Preferred Experience/Qualifications
-

1-3 years of experience in the nonprofit sector.
- 1-3 years of experience with CRM/ticketing systems.
- 1-2 years experience reporting on data from multiple sources.
- Executive assistant or equivalent experience.
- Outstanding organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Undergraduate Degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace.
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed mental wellness practices and/or experience working with survivors of trauma.
