Since she first attended our annual community event, Art in the Afternoon, G Hannelius has reached out to her fans to spread the word about our cause. We love watching her grow over the years as she first joined as co-auctioneer for Art in the Afternoon in 2011, the following year became co-host, and since 2013 has taken the reins as the main host and a valuable member of our planning committee. G invites all her friends and castmates from “Dog with a Blog,” to attend Art in the Afternoon, and together the stars greeted hundreds of fans with smiles and open arms. In 2015, she even brought her custom nail wraps from her Make Me Nails digital app with event sales benefiting AWBW!

As G shared in Unite4Good Magazine, “I hope people are inspired by AWBW to help out in their communities and make a difference.

Volunteering and helping others make you feel good inside! I also hope that people are inspired to make art. Even if you aren’t suffering from a traumatic situation, art is a fun and wonderful way to express yourself.”

She has become a very important part of A Window Between Worlds and her efforts have resulted in raising thousands of dollars and invaluable visibility for our organization. G also recently became a founding member of AWBW’s Monthly Giving Program. We are so grateful that G has taken AWBW into her heart as her favorite charity!
