Survivors’ Art Circle (SAC) is a specialized affinity group offered by A Window Between Worlds to anyone 18 and over who identifies as a survivor of domestic and/or sexual violence.
Members will be invited to attend virtual workshops on the third Friday of each month, from 4-6pm PT, in community with other survivors, and have the opportunity to use art to explore their past, present, and take positive steps toward the future.
For many of us who have been affected by domestic and/or sexual violence, having outlets for creative expression and connection can help create a community of support and build resilience. Our creative spirits remind us that we have the strength to overcome adversity. The time, space, and caring we give ourselves, while we create art, can help us in our journey towards healing. The creative process supports us to reach deep within ourselves in to connect with our resiliency. With each creation we can move towards a life full of freedom and love for ourselves.
Longtime Windows Facilitator, workshop author, trainer, mixed media artist, and survivor, Rose Curtis has returned as the Survivors’ Art Circle Coordinator and Facilitator. If you have any questions, please contact us at sac@awbw.org.
