Over the last 25 years, A Window Between Worlds has developed a collaborative, grassroots model of leadership and curricular development to achieve maximum program impact. Through intensive partnerships with a growing network of human service providers, the Windows Programs are uniquely suited to complement comprehensive approaches to transforming the of lives those impacted by violence and trauma.
This structure of evolving innovation is flexible and responsive to the needs of workshop participants, as it is developed by practitioners, advocates and community members nationwide. AWBW actively supports partner agencies with training, art supplies and personalized consultation, along with 24/7 access to an online support network, workshop curriculum and program reporting. Each of our partner sites pilots a Windows Program, then makes adaptations based on their unique experiences, identifying best practices to share with this national network of Leaders. The result is a growing stengths-based, high-quality curriculum of over 500 workshops that is continually updated and expanded.
