The deadline to receive your Gratitude Kit has passed… however, you can still buy BYOS tickets!
With “Bring Your Own Supplies” tickets you will receive the event link to this special fundraiser. To participate in the workshop portion you’ll need paper and a pen or pencil, or any art supplies you may have on hand, to create your expression of gratitude the night of the event.
Special 30th Anniversary Celebration
Sunday, October 10th, 5-6:30pm PT
We invite you to join us for Home Is Where the Art Is, a unique virtual event celebrating our 30th year of empowering survivors through art and bringing us together as a community to hold space for practices of individual and collective gratitude.
Strengthening wellness, connection, and appreciation for the work we collectively make possible, the night includes the honoring of long-time, committed AWBW supporter Elisa Perlman & Windows Facilitator La Shonda Coleman, LCSW for their contributions to transforming trauma and a small group, interactive art workshop experience. No artistic skills are needed — just a willingness to explore gratitude in your life.
Event tickets also include a curated Gratitude Kit. This kit will be mailed to you prior to the event — or you can gift this opportunity to friends, family, or colleagues across the country. It contains:
• Custom table-top Gratitude Journal with prompts from our Windows Facilitators
• “Thinking of You” cards to share with those most special in your life
