On May 6th, over 200 friends, family, survivors and volunteers filled the AWBW courtyard to help bring art as a healing tool to battered women and children. Together we raised over $20,000 - our highest ever for this event! "What is Peace?" was the day's theme and participants enjoyed creative projects and reflected on what peace means in their lives, families and relationships. One young participant shared, "This is the best day of my whole life!" Special thanks to all hosts, donors, auction supporters, guests, volunteers and art leaders who helped make the day a beautiful success!
