Windows at NCADV

The Anaheim Hilton, Anaheim CAA Window Between Worlds will be offering our
Women's & Children's Leadership Training at NCADV's & NOMA's 14th National Conference. A condensed version of AWBW's 2-day leadership training will be offered, including hands-on activities to prepare participants for leading workshops. Following each hands-on segment, participants will be given the opportunity to envision how they would change or adapt the workshop to reflect their own style and impact the population(s) they serve. Topics to be explored include: establishing safety and closure, adapting the workshops to various settings, and how to lead a workshop for empowerment. Participants will also be given tools to access AWBW's extensive, free and ongoing support for art program leaders. In addition, drop-in art sessions will also be available for anyone who wants to experience the art first hand. To register and learn more about the conference, please visit www.ncadv.org
